Lisbeth Robinson joins Billion & Armitage after serving as a patent examiner in Technology Center 1600 of the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Her docket encompassed applications within Biotechnology and Organic Chemistry fields, with emphasis in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and agricultural formulations. Prior to joining the USPTO she prosecuted patent applications for transgenic plants, cardiovascular devices, and diagnostic methods as a Life Sciences Associate of Fish and Richardson, P.C. Lisbeth received a bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Sciences from the University of Vermont, a PhD from the University of Minnesota (“Improved Optical Highlighters Derived From Dsred Variants and Enhanced Calcium Leak from Endoplasmic Reticulum Calcium Stores Induced by Hepatitis C Virus NS5A Protein”, Advisor: Dr. Jonathan Marchant), and a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School as the first JD/PhD graduate of the Joint Degree Program in Law, Health and the Life Sciences.
